Non-Gamer, Casually Gaming

Welcome to “Non-Gamer, Casually Gaming,” the gaming blog for the real average Joe (or Josette?) kinda gamer. If you found us, it means you LOVE gaming. You grew up on it. You remember what it was like to plug in remotes and blow into your Pokemon cartridge to make it work. Your Dad’s friends tried to keep you entertained, while they all got drunk, by letting you play their “retro” Sega or Atari that they kept in an unfinished basement. You never really thought you were a “gamer” really, you played sports or instruments as a kid, you were never a shut-in. You never tried G-Fuel, but that doesn’t mean you dont game.

Sure, you cannot dedicate all your time to gaming, you got: School, work, the gym, or maybe even a family (you lucky so and so). You are a grown-ass adult with grown-ass responsibilties, but you got to let out that kid in you. Even so, a lot of todays gaming circles feel way too involved. You have children throwing fits over the Peter Griffin Fortnite skin or the sweaty Twitch streamer clinching their 1000th Warzone victory on a $1000 keyboard.

Thats too much.

But you know your stuff and don’t need some fancy gagets and gizmos to have a good time - just a controller or mouse, comfy headset, maybe a nice recliner, and a couple good friends to play with. Or maybe fly solo with a couple of beers and just take the Jets to the superbowl in your lifetime by playing some Madden. It’s what you do to blow off steam… and you can afford your own Peter Griffin skin damnit!

Good for you. Embrace that.

Whatever your story may be, you never lost your love for playing video games. So if you’re the weekend warrior, nostalgia seeker, drunken master, or the out-of-towner just keeping in touch, this is the gaming blog for you.

We will review upcoming games, drop recommendations, and provide some news and insight into the gaming word. Stay and learn something new with us, share in nostalgia, or just vibe. Either way, get high. Pour a whiskey. Do both. Do none. Just hang out with us and get ready to be Casually Gaming.
